Both Samantha and Darrin Stephens of Bewitched appeared (in animated form) on an episode of the Flintstones as the Stone Age couple's new neighbours.

Dick Sargent was the original choice for the role of Darrin Stephens on Bewitched but was unable to commit to the series at its start. Dick York was then hired and Sargent replaced him when York left the series due to increasing back pain.

In a recent interview she said I haven't gotten the nose down yet but I'm determined that I'll do my own nose twitching and they won't have to use special effects.

On Bewitched Elizabeth Montgomery wed the show's producer/director William Asher. In one episode in 1969 a valentine with the pair's initials is seen on the wall of a baseball stadium. The last season was produced by Ashmont the company owned by the couple.

On Bewitched Tabitha Stephens was originally played by twins Erin and Diane Murphy. Because they were fraternal twins they increasingly looked different as they grew up. Thus in the later series it was decided that Erin would continue the role alone.

On Bewitched almost all of the female witches' character names end with the letter a including Samantha Endora Esmerelda and Tabitha.

Tabitha Stephens of Bewitched achieved the distinction of being the only offspring born to a sitcom mother to be given a series of her own: Tabitha (1977-8) in which she starred as a young adult working for TV station KXLA.

The first LIVE-ACTION (i.e. not counting Fred & Wilma Flintstone who were the true first) TV couple to share a bed were Darrin & Samantha Stevens from 'Bewitched'. Producers felt they could get away with it because Samantha wasn't human she was a witch.

When Samantha doubles as her look-alike sister Serena in Bewitched the credits list her as 'Pandora Spocks'.
