    Bill Daily (Captain Roger Healy) suffered from Dyslexia and had difficulties memorising his lines for I Dream of Jeannie. For this reason he often peformed impromptu lines creating some of the show's funniest moments.

    In I Dream of Jeannie the house occupied by Tony and Jeannie was also previously occupied by both the Father Knows Best and Blondie tv families.

    The bottle in I Dream of Jeannie was actually made from a Jim Beam liquor decanter which was simply painted with gold leaf.

    The lagoon where the I Dream of Jeannie episode My Master The Pirate (March 13. 1967) was filmed is also the same one used for the TV show Gilligan's Island.

    Years after I Dream of Jeannie finished Barbara Eden was reunited with her former 'Master' Larry Hagman in Dallas. She played billionaire LeAnn De La Vega an oil rival of JR's who revealed that her maiden name was Nelson - a sly reference to Tony Nelson Jeannie's astronaut husband.

    In 2006, I Dream of Jeannie co-stars Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman reunited on stage permorning A R Gurney's "Love Letters". This was their first time working together since 1991 when they reunited on "Dallas."

    Barbara Eden's real life husband, actor Michael Ansara (marriage 1958-1974) , appeared in three I Dream of Jeannie episodes. He played The Blue Djinn in the second season, "Happy Anniversary"; King Kamayamaya in the third season, "The Battle of Wikiaki"; and Biff Jelico in fifth season, "My Sister, The Homewrecker." Mr. Ansara also directed a few episode as well.
