Jerry Maguire talks the talk and walks the walk as a top dog sports agent: willing to do just about anything to get the biggest contracts for his clients, plus a nice commission for himself. One day, he suddenly has second thoughts about what he's really doing. When he voices these doubts, he ends up losing his job and all of his clients, save Rod Tidwell (Cuba Gooding Jr who won an Oscar for this role), an egomaniacal football player with a famous scene “Show me the money!”. Jerry tries to jumpstart his own agency along with cutie Dorothy-you had me at hello- Porter (Renee Zellweger) and he soon begins to learn more than his share of lessons in life and in love.
