    After her divorce from Tom Arnold Roseanne changed her name so she had no surname at all. However she has since changed it back to 'Roseanne Barr' as she tired of explaining at airports and in banks why she didn't have a last name.

    Before John Goodman landed the role of Dan Conner on Roseanne he took a $1 000 loan from his brother to go to New York and work as a bouncer at a singles' bar but quit when he was shown how to beat up people.

    In episode 3-14 Roseanne's friend Donald eat's over at the Conners' house and he asks Who designed this kitchen Dan? and Dan reply's I don't know some guy named Garvin Eddy. Garvin Eddy is the production designer.

    Is Roseanne the US equivalent of Nigella Lawson? As well as her upcoming reality show Roseanne will appear on US TV in a food-based series to be called 'The Domestic Goddess Hour'.

    On Roseanne Roseanne's sister Jackie’s real name is Marjorie. As a child Roseanne had difficulty pronouncing her name and twisted it into 'My Jackie' which became just 'Jackie'.
