Trivia

After The Munsters was cancelled there were two reunion made-for-tv movies made - Revenge of the Munsters and Munster Go Home. In 1995 a Munster movie was made and a scene had all of the surviving original characters dining in a restaraunt in their old Munster costumes.

Eddie Munster's pet dragon that lived under the stairs was named Spot.

Fred Gwynne (Herman Munster) would spend an hour and a half every day before shooting having his face painted green although the show was filmed in black and white.

In The Munsters the uncredited voice of The Raven was supplied by Mel Blanc. On the rare occassions Blanc was unavailable the Raven's voice was supplied by Bob Hastings (from McHale's Navy).

Lily Munster's first name was originally Phoebe in the pilot.

On The Munsters Lilly Munster's maiden name was Dracula.

The pilot of The Munsters was filmed in colour whereas the show was filmed in black-and-white thereafter.
