Being a father is tough enough, but trying to raise a pre-teen daughter on your own, while doubling as a live-in house keeper is tougher still! Such is the lot of Tony Micelli (Tony Danza), whose world is turned upside down when his beloved wife passes away and an injury forces him into early retirement from major league baseball. Not one to give up, Tony and his daughter Samantha (Alyssa Milano from TV1’s Charmed), move in with Angela Bower (Judith Light), her son Jonathan (Danny Pintauro) and her free-spirited, mischievous mother Mona Robinson (Katherine Helmond). Tony and Angela enjoy a meaningful friendship beyond their employer/employee relationship, but will romantic tensions arise amid the vacuuming and dusting?
