No Soup For You - Seinfeld's Jason Alexander teams up with the SoupMan

"The Soup Nazi" episode of Seinfeld (Season 7) became a global pop culture hit. We all remember George famously not following the rules at the soup restaurant(inspired by Al Yeganeh's Soup Kitchen International),thus, he has his soup taken away with the famous " NO soup for you!" line from the owner. Now Jason Alexander (George)is a spokesperson for the Original Soup Man brand, helping to build the brand up once again and put it onto supermarket shelves.

The actor will also be joined by Reggie Jackson and Shaquille O’Neal. "Finally, I get to say 'Soup for you! Soup for everyone!'" says Jason Alexander.

Mr Yeganeh, played by Larry Thomas in the Seinfeld episode, closed shop in 2004 and now the brand is a franchise. Jerry Seinfeld visited the restaurant recently and told the workers: "Make sure you get everything right with this restaurant - Al's a very important man." "They have not reconciled," the spokeswoman said of Al and Jerry.
