The Twilight: Breaking Dawn movie is getting blamed for causing epileptic fits. At least 2 cases were identified in the US where the viewers experienced seizures while watching the movie in the cinema. These cases are described as photo sensitive epilepsy and are caused by flashing lights and fast visual patterns which happen on screen.
Twilight: Breaking Dawn features a highly intense birthing scene which has flashing and flickering that could trigger epileptic reactions. The strong images during ‘the birth of Bella and Edward are struggling desperately to get the child’s belly, half-human half-vampire that is eating away inside’ and Bill Condon makes a caesarean through bites. It is during this scene that the viewers were impacted and needed medical help.

Despite these claims, the Twilight: Breaking Dawn movie has remained the #1 favourite in the box office for the second weekend in the US. The ticket sales totalled $42 million as fans swarm the cinemas to see movie 1 out of the 2 part finale to the Saga based on Twilight book series.
